Meaningful Career Conversations Training

We are pleased to share with you the opportunity to participate in a four hour training session for having “Meaningful Career Conversations” with our students.

This opportunity is to help educators broaden career aspirations for PK-20 learners.  This FREE training is available to all school counselors, intermediaries, community college advisors, work-based learning coordinators, mentors, teachers, administrators, after-school providers, coaches, librarians, school board members, STEM advisory boards or anyone who might have a career conversation with a student in the PK-20 system in Iowa.  Career development is a life-long process beginning in Pre-K.

CRAEA will be hosting a session on May 11, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  You are able to join in person or virtually.   Please use this registration form to sign up. Other AEA’s are also hosting sessions and those are listed here; the time of the training is either 8:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Times and locations are listed on the registration form.

I am looking forward to the success of Iowa Meaningful Career Conversations and the future successes of our students.  If you have any questions about this opportunity, please feel free to contact Katy Blatnick-Gagne at the DE or Jo Prusha.
