Adult Mental Health First Aid

Central Rivers AEA is excited to offer a professional learning opportunity focused on Adult Mental Health. Adult Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based opportunity designed to help adults understand the basics of mental health concerns and provides participants with evidence-based strategies to identify and support individuals who may be struggling. Unlike other learning opportunities, Adult Mental Health First Aid focuses on providing individuals with the tools needed to respond to and support others in a mental health crisis. This is a ‘blended’ course. It includes two hours of self-paced learning and in-person training.

Adult Mental Health First Aid will be offered as one part of an Adult Mental Health Learning series that will result in earning a Mental Health Awareness badge and an incentive from the agency. Additional information regarding the series/badge will be available in May.
